Terms and Conditions
We accept most major credit & debit cards online using Paypal. Your card details are never known to us when you pay online. Alternatively you may order by post enclosing a cheque or postal order, made payable to G Elam.
Wherever possible, items held in stock are dispatched same or next day. Orders from our suppliers will usually be sent within 5 working days. Smaller items are normally sent by first class post. Larger or heavier items are by parcel post or courier.
If an order does not arrive within a reasonable time, it may simply be awaiting collection from your local Royal Mail Delivery office, so please check with them first.
In our experience Royal Mail do not always leave a card when they are unable to deliver an item. Royal Mail does not consider an item to be lost until at least 15 working days have elapsed, that is three full weeks.
We cannot accept responsibility for goods not received, due to an incomplete or incorrect address being given.
A refund will be given however, if the item finds its way back to us. All items are sent with a returns address stamped on the reverse of the packaging.
Should you wish to cancel, you may do so prior to us processing your order.
Please contact us by telephone on 01484 686214. A full refund will then be given. If your goods have already been dispatched, no refund can be given until they have been returned. They must be received back in their original, unfitted, unused condition & the original packaging unopened, unmarked and not written on.
i.e. items not held as stock lines and for which availability times cannot be guaranteed may not be cancelled or returned.
RETURNS POLICY If you wish to return goods for any reason you must inform us of your intention to do so within 8 days of receipt, Telephone 01484 686214
When returning goods; it is your responsibility to make sure they arrive back in good condition or a refund/exchange cannot be given.
All returns must be posted at your own expense and include the original packaging. Replacements or refunds cannot be given until we receive the goods back.
Any refund will be minus £3.95 regardless of you receiving free postage and packaging.
If an electrical part has been blown by another electrical component in your appliance an exchange or refund cannot be given.
If the returned part proves not to be faulty we cannot meet the return postal costs.
Should any goods prove to be faulty or sub standard, a replacement/full refund will be given and your return carriage charges will be refunded.
Providing no more than 8 days has elapsed since receipt, goods can be returned at your expense for a refund. However the following criteria must be met because returned goods must be resalable. The packaging must be complete, original, include any labels and not be written on. No attempt must have been made to fit the goods.
They must be in their original unused condition.
They must not have been electrically connected in any way or used for fault finding.
All spare parts that have been fitted by a competent and suitably qualified person are guaranteed for 3 months from receipt (unless the failure has been caused by customer mis-use). No replacement or refund can be given until the item has been returned to us for testing.
Spares fitted by an unqualified person or which have failed due to ill-fitting, accident, neglect, or normal wear and tear are not covered by the guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights.
OUR QUALITY PROMISE
Please be aware that all parts are subject to design specification, part number and availability changes. Parts provided may not exactly match the originals but are deemed by the manufacturer to be a suitable replacement. Wherever possible we offer an original spare as well as high quality pattern spares. The majority of pattern spares are made to specifications which match or exceed those of the OEM item. We sometimes use these parts ourselves for servicing and repair of appliances and you can be assured that we would never offer you a part that fell below our own high standards. The use of manufactures names on the site does not imply that our spares are sourced from these manufacturers. All original parts are clearly labelled as such. Where no such labelling is included with the item, a quality pattern part will be supplied. We take no responsibility for errors or omissions on product details as we take these directly from the manufactures information.
We reserve the right to alter the display price without notice.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION1)
Parts should only be fitted by a suitably qualified person having technical competence applicable product knowledge and suitable tools and equipment.2)
Servicing or repair of electrical appliances MUST be undertaken with the appliances disconnected from the electrical supply.3)
Prior to reconnecting please ensure any necessary Earth Continuity and Insulation Resistance tests are carried out and satisfactory results obtained!4)
Personal safety precautions must be taken to protect against accidents caused by sharp edges on plastic and metal parts.
5) After servicing, all appliances must be checked for electrical safety.
Electricspare will take no responsibility whatsoever for damage, direct or consequential caused by incorrect fitting of parts or maintenance of electrical appliances.
All our prices have VAT included.
